About Melinda Ray

At the age of 18, considered to be the threshold of adulthood, Melinda Ray began her real estate career working for her mother who at the time, was a condominium sales executive.

For the following 30 years, Melinda has been licensed in five states. Within that time, she has earned multiple designations. These include:

o Graduate Real Estate Institute, GRI
o Bank Properties Specialist, BPO
o Institute Real Estate Marketing, IRM
o Certified Sales Person, CSP

With continuing education efforts in the real estate arena, Melinda is exceptionally knowledgeable and qualified to address any real estate scenario for buyers, sellers and investors.

To suggest that real estate is in Melinda Ray’s DNA is precisely to the point. Her grandfather was a home builder in north Alabama along with her father, an architect and engineer practicing in Georgia, Alabama and Saudi Arabia. Melinda’s mother moved from condominium sales to owning three Re/Max offices in the greater Atlanta area and became president of the Cherokee County Realtor Association. Much as her mother, Melinda has been a self-made success in the real estate business.

This success is equally a result of very specific personal characteristics. First among these is an unflinching desire to truly provide the very best customer experience. There is no detail that isn’t considered and a problem-solving mindset helps manage the entire buying/selling process for her customers. Melinda recognizes her job as one of the most important stakeholders in the business because she helps people make some of the largest investment decisions of their lives. She equally recognizes that to be a great agent, one must possess and exhibit integrity, a strong work ethic, adopt ever-changing technology, manage customer expectations, ability to communicate intelligently and oodles of patience. To top it all off is her contagious, fun and very friendly personality.

The proof is in the blank report card she extends to her customers so they can evaluate her performance. This is a fundamental best practice that adds a level of accountability rarely seen in the real estate business. The proof is also in the formal recognition of Melinda as one of America’s Top 100 Real Estate Agents.
